Negligent driving occasioning GBH – case dropped
A charge for negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm against our 17-year-old client from Collaroy was recently dropped. In this case, our client (on her L plates) was charged with allegedly failing to give way to a motorcyclist at a roundabout, leading to a collision. The motorcyclist sustained various injuries, including a fractured leg.
The charges were dropped and the client kept her licence and escaped a conviction after Sydney Criminal Lawyers® put forth evidence to suggest that the motorcyclist could have been travelling at excessive speed.
